This Lyson 2019 four frame combo extractor consists of a stainless steel drum and basket, a removable fine-mesh filter screen for easy cleanup and a settling/bottling tank w/ gate valve that holds 100lbs of honey. The basket will hold 2 deep, or 4 medium/shallow frames. It is perfect for the backyard hobbyist yet is durable enough to support a small, growing operation. It uses a unique, worm gear drive that allows the basket to freewheel without the handle spinning and eliminates the awkward clutch systems of some other brands. In addition, gently applying back pressure on the crank, engages a braking mechanism to slow the frame basket.
