Discover the art of encaustic painting. First used by Greek Artists in the 4th century. Encaustic is a wax based paint (composed of beeswax, resin and pigment), which is kept molten on a heated palette. It is applied to an absorbent surface and then reheated in order to fuse the paint. Encaustic Artist Maria Zincio will demo the technique of making these one-of-a-kind timeless art forums.
